"Every year on February 28th, India celebrates National Science Day. But do you know why this specific date was chosen? It commemorates the day in 1928 when the legendary Indian physicist Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman announced his revolutionary discovery of the 'Raman Effect'.

This discovery, which explains how light scatters when passing through matter, earned him the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930. He was the very first Asian to receive this prestigious honor in the field of science. In 1986, the government designated this day to celebrate the achievements of our scientists and to inspire the next generation to explore the unknown."

Inside us, our stomach acid is so strong it can actually dissolve a metal razor blade. Even the humble banana in your lunchbox is slightly radioactive due to its potassium content. Science reveals these hidden truths, helping us understand everything from the magnetic fields animals use for navigation to why we need saliva just to taste our food."

"India has a glorious history of innovation, from the ancient mathematical wisdom of scholars like Aryabhatta and Brahmagupta to our modern triumphs in space exploration.

Today, India continues to lead on the global stage, currently ranking 39th in the Global Innovation Index. We have deployed 33 supercomputers across the nation to solve complex problems and are developing BharatGen, a multimodal AI model that speaks our own languages. Whether it is the National Quantum Mission or our journey to the moon, Indian science is proving that the sky is not the limit—it is just the beginning."
